We require a committed and passionate second in department to help lead and manage a core subject area within our supportive school. The secondary school wants all students to achieve to the highest of their capabilities. Students are nurtured so that they can develop their spiritual life, along with their social and academic skills. Community is at the heart of the County Durham secondary school, and it nurtures a close partnership between parents, teachers, students, parishes and the wider community. Students are encouraged to get involved with extra-curricular activities to expand their skills and interests. Students are also given opportunities to compete in local, national and international competitions. St Bede’s Catholic Comprehensive School & Byron Sixth Form College holds a Healthy Schools status, International School Award, Investors in People acknowledgement and holds specialist status for Humanities.
