Vacancy: RE Teacher (maternity cover)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated RE teacher to make a substantial contribution to the further development of this good school. The RE faculty is friendly, hardworking, positive and passionate about the subject. It works hard to engage and inspire all students. Religious Education is a popular subject at All Saints and the Faculty received an outstanding report in Section 48 (2018) This post an exciting opportunity further develop this good school. The successful candidate would additionally support Catholic Life throughout the whole school. The post is due to start after October 2019 half term to cover a maternity leave full time for up to one year. Experienced and NQT applications are welcome.
The successful candidate will have the qualities to motivate and inspire our students and will be required to teach at both KS3 and KS4. All students study RE and are entered for GCSE in year 11. At KS4, we study for the Eduqas Foundational Catholic Theology, Applied Catholic Theology and Judaism papers.The ability to monitor and track the progress of year groups through data is essential, as is the ability to work effectively as part of the RE team.
All Saints is an 11-16 school, situated near the northern boundary of Kirklees. We are a Catholic school with students attending from diverse cultural backgrounds, which contribute to the distinctive ethos. All Saints Catholic College enjoys an “Outstanding Judgement” from the Leeds Diocese – Section 48 Inspection (May 2018). In July 2017, Ofsted judged All Saints ‘good’ in every category.
