Moon Hall School, Reigate: A Mainstream Dyslexia Specialist School

About Us:

Moon Hall School, Reigate, is dedicated to supporting pupils with dyslexia from Year 3 to Year 11. We provide our students with the opportunity to access the mainstream curriculum, helping them bridge the gap between their current attainment and their true potential. Our tailored curricular provision respects the unique learning strategies of each pupil, ensuring they acquire, assimilate, and communicate information at their own pace through a variety of teaching approaches and experiences.

Our Aim:

We strive to cultivate independent learners who are confident and capable. Under the leadership of Headteacher Michelle Catterson (BSc, PGCE, NPQH, SpLD Level 3), a BDA Board Trustee and APPG member for Dyslexia, we are committed to helping every pupil achieve their full academic and co-curricular potential. While literacy and numeracy are our main priorities, we also focus on personal development, preparing our students to succeed as adults in the ‘real world’.

Mission and Vision:

Our mission is to support every pupil in reaching their full potential, both academically and personally. We believe in teaching to each individual’s ability, ensuring that every student feels valued and supported. Our vision is to create a nurturing environment where students can thrive and develop the confidence and skills needed to access the curriculum and succeed in life.
