Maltings Academy and New Rickstones Academy in Witham, Essex are graded ‘Outstanding’ and ‘Good’ by Ofsted respectively. Both have a state of the art new building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff. Staff receive discounted membership at Witham Leisure Centre.
We are recruiting a number of Reader-Scribes to join our Inclusion team across both academies. Full training will be provided for successful candidates. During examinations you will read and/or scribe during for pupils with access arrangements in accordance the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) Regulations.
These positions are on a casual, as and when required basis, throughout the academic year. Shifts will vary (from minimum 2 hours to all day) and you will need to be able to start work at 8am.

New Rickstones Academy is a secondary school based in Witham. This is an exciting time to join New Rickstones Academy as we continue to expand. Over the last 8 years, student numbers have more than doubled, leading to oversubscription and the addition of a new building in September 2022 to accommodate the growing demand.
