Start Date: September 2018 

Work Pattern: Part-time 0.6 (4 mornings plus 1 afternoon per week); additional cover teaching may be available for candidates wishing to work more hours

West Drayton Academy would like to appoint a qualified Reading Recovery Teacher to cover our current teacher’s maternity leave. We are looking for somebody with experience of working as a Reading Recovery Teacher and of accelerating progress for children experiencing difficulties with learning to read and write. 

We believe that every child should leave primary education as fluent and passionate readers. We are looking for somebody who enjoys a challenge and who strives for excellent results no matter what the barriers are.

The successful applicant will join our friendly and knowledgeable Inclusion Team and will have access to all appropriate resources.
