We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Ready to Learn room Supervisor to be responsible for the day to day operation of a Ready to Learn classroom. If you are interested in making a measurable difference to the lives of young people, then this could be the perfect role for you.
The successful applicant will maintain a positive learning environment, support students to access the curriculum and manage their behaviours in the classroom. If successful in your application to this rewarding role you will become a key member of the school’s Student Support Team, liaising with parents/carers, staff and students to support the behaviour for learning policy and pastoral systems across the school.
The successful applicant will ideally have previous experience of working with young people, preferably in a secondary school environment. They should be able to demonstrate:
Experience of communicating effectively with students and parents.
Knowledge of strategies which promote good behaviour and engagement within the curriculum.
The skills needed to support young people who are experiencing difficulties with their behavioural, emotional and social development to access learning.

About Queen Elizabeth's School
Queen Elizabeth’s is a mixed, mainstream, non-denominational, secondary day and boarding school in Crediton, Devon. The school caters to students aged 11 to 18 and has approximately 1,400 pupils enrolled.
Queen Elizabeth’s converted to academy status in April 2011. The school started as a grammar school, then became a boarding grammar for boys and girls, and is now the only state boarding school in Devon. It is part of the Teaching School Alliance.
