Reception Class Teacher

Role: Class Teacher - Reception 

Contract type: Full Time Temporary for one year 

Start Date 1st September 2018  

Following the promotion of the existing post-holder, our successful Church of England School is looking for a passionate, committed Reception Teacher to join our team. You will be ambitious for our children and know that teaching is all about encouraging a genuine love of learning and creating a stimulating, nurturing environment in which every pupil can develop both academically and socially. We require a teacher who can listen, question, be responsive and remember that every pupil and class is different.

We believe that the Reception year is vital to ensuring children develop the skills they need to be successful learners throughout their time in School. We have recently completed a large programme of investment in our Reception unit and are committed to providing professional development opportunities to ensure our teachers have the right skills to use our provision to achieve the best outcomes for children. This is an excellent time to join our school and a real opportunity for someone committed to teamwork and child led learning who wants to make a difference. 

Our school opened in April 2014 and has gone from strength to strength since that time. In November 2016 we were judged as ‘OUTSTANDING’ in a SIAMs inspection and in May 2017 as a GOOD school with OUTSTANDING Personal development and welfare by OFTSED. We seek a committed professional to work with us as we become a truly outstanding place of learning.
