Reception Class Teacher

Due to continued development and investment, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and committed professional to join our talented and hardworking team from September 2017. As the first Free School in Blackpool we are proud to bring our nearly 100 year old tradition of academic excellence as an independent preparatory school to the whole Blackpool community. Langdale Free School is entering an exciting new phase from September 2017 under the guidance of a newly appointed Principal and Executive Principal. The school has exciting plans for the future and seeks to enhance an already enthusiastic staff. 

We are seeking a highly motivated, inspirational and innovative Early Years teacher to:

• build on our current teaching and learning strengths, develop new ones and further raise standards of this leading primary school

• foster our culture of high academic expectations

• excel in the opportunity to work with maximum class sizes of 18 children

• sustain our family ethos of strong pastoral care and support

• further develop our innovative and creative curriculum

As an energetic, successful and inspiring classroom teacher, you will have the skills and drive necessary to: continually raise academic standards; engage, inspire and motivate pupils and parents alike; develop strong links with, and promote the school to the broader community; and support on going continuous improvement programmes and specific development initiatives.
