Reception Class Teacher (EYFS Coordinator)

Leweston School is seeking an exceptional and committed Early Years teacher to join our thriving Pre-Prep, which offers outstanding early education. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, organised and caring, with considerable experience of teaching in a Reception class. Recognised as Independent School Parent’s Pre-Prep of the Year 2018-19, we offer small class sizes, a wonderful outdoor environment and enthusiastic, happy children.

Our pupils benefit from an enhanced curriculum with PE, Music, Languages, Forest School, Swimming and more, led by subject specialists. As our early years’ coordinator, you will be dedicated to the constant development of our provision and will work closely with the Head to ensure that every pupil receives a broad, balanced and engaging early education. 

Applicants must have appropriate experience in a Reception class and a proven track record of outstanding teaching. Familiarity with Tapestry, or other online learning journal systems would be an advantage. 

Applications must be submitted by Monday 27 January and interviews will take place the following week. This is a permanent role, starting in March or April 2020, depending on the availability of the successful candidate.
