Our Josef-Schwarz-School is situated close to nature in Erlenbach and centrally located in Heilbronn. For our Primary School in Erlenbach we are looking for a Reception Class Teacher (in part-time or full-time, starting at the beginning of the school year 2026/2027).

Your Responsibilities

  • Work together as a team with a German class teacher and additionally assist twice a week in the afternoon programme until 5:30 pm

  • Preparation and follow-up as well as organisational and pedagogical design of lessons based on our benchmarked curriculum

  • Application of didactic and methodological diversity in the classroom

  • Creating a positive, supportive and welcoming learning environment in the classroom

  • Organisation, implementation and supervision of various class projects

  • Helping develop new ideas and improving processes

  • Maintaining strong communication with parents

Your Profile

  • Certified training as an Early Years Educator, a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, a degree in Social Pedagogy or a comparable qualification that enables you to work in a reception class

  • Approachable and caring person with a passion for working with children, especially in the reception/kindergarten age group

  • Dedicated to enable all children to achieve their full potential

  • An interest in the development and implementation of new pedagogical concepts that focus on the individualized development of children

  • Fluency in English and an interest in learning the German language and culture
