The Ryleys School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Reception Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team.
This role is offered on a temporary contract initially, with the potential to become permanent. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available.
The successful candidate will support learning and development within our Reception class, working closely with teaching staff to create a nurturing, engaging and well-organised environment for our youngest pupils.
Role & Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in the day-to-day running of the Reception classroom
Assist with delivering engaging activities that support the Early Years Foundation Stage
Provide care and encouragement to support children’s social, emotional and academic development
Help maintain a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support high-quality provision
Contract Details
Start date: 16 March 2026
(or 13 April 2026 if preferred)Hours: Part-time or full-time
Contract: Temporary initially, with potential to become permanent
Salary: In line with experience and qualifications
