Canary Wharf College Glenworth has an exciting opportunity for a Reception Teacher to start in September 2021.

We seek an ambitious and dynamic professional, committed to the highest standard of learning at all levels, to join this highly effective and happy team as a Reception Teacher on a one term fixed contract.

Canary Wharf College is a fabulous place to work. The Trust welcomes staff and pupils from all faiths while operating within a Christian ethos.

Our schools are based in a quiet setting in the heart of the Isle of Dogs in Tower Hamlets, yet close to Mudchute and Island Gardens DLR and central London. The school works long days, balanced by shorter terms.

We are looking for an experienced Early Years Specialist who has worked in an outstanding provision. In your statement you should outline your skills and experience and how they demonstrate that you can meet the requirements of the role. You should also write approximately 500 words on “Why I want to work at Canary Wharf College and what I hope to achieve here”. Applications that fail to do this will not be shortlisted.

Canary Wharf College Trust was approved by the Department for Education to open a second Primary School on the Isle of Dogs. This school opened its doors in September 2014 with Reception and Year One children and now grown to have Reception to Year 6.
