Blatchington Mill School needs a Receptionist to join the Administration Team at this successful and popular large secondary school.

This role is very important, being the first point of contact with our school for students, families and visitors.  We seek candidates who understand the essential balance to be welcoming and friendly alongside the need to be professional and highly efficient.

Whilst managing the reception desk you would also be required to operate the school’s switchboard and to respond to incoming emails.

We take Safeguarding and Child Protection seriously at Blatchington Mill School and Sixth Form College and the Receptionists are key to these procedures.

This is an exciting time to join our school as we have recently restructured the staffing of our Business Section including the Admin Hub. We welcome applications from candidates with experience of similar roles either in an educational setting or elsewhere.

For further details and an application form please visit our school website and if you are interested in applying please complete and return an application form by the closing date: (CVs alone will not be considered)

Closing date: Tuesday, 6th December – 12.00 noon

Interviews: w.c. 13th December 2016

Blatchington Mill School is committed to safeguarding our students; we expect all staff and volunteers to support this commitment.  Criminal record checks will be carried out and a full, enhanced DBS clearance is required for all positions. Applications are encouraged from black and ethnic minority candidates, as these groups are under-represented on the school's staff.  (Race Relations Act sections 35-38 apply).
