Hours:  35 hours per week 8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday (half hour for lunch)  8am to 1.30pm Friday. (half hour for lunch)

Loreto High School Catholic 11-16 mixed comprehensive school.  Currently there are around 750 pupils on roll.  The school has a strong leadership team and management structure with a focus on raising standards. The Governing Body are seeking an enthusiastic School Receptionist to join our busy administration team.  The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for the School dealing with all visitors, pupils and staff and providing excellent customer care. 

Duties will include  

• Reception duties including: welcoming visitors and dealing with security arrangements.  Answering and fielding calls, taking messages, dealing with enquiries on the phone, face to face and via email, dealing with deliveries and assisting with enquiries 

• Managing fire registers

• Data input on the School Management System 

• Producing letters, emails and other documents

• Deliver First aid to staff and students 

• Support the PA to Headteacher with administrative and organisational duties as directed  

You will have a proven track record of building relationships in a working environment and with the wider community.  You will share our commitment to safeguarding.  Candidates who have previous experience of working in a school together with SIMS knowledge are preferred.  A non school background will be considered but must be able to demonstrate an administration background with strong customer service skills. Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS certificate and first aid training if necessary.  What you need to do now If you believe you are the right person for this role and wish to apply, please fill in the job application form and return by the deadline date.
