Waverley Education Foundation (WEF) is a Multi Academy Trust, which operates both Waverley School and Waverley Studio College. WEF has over 1900 pupils on roll across the trust. It develops, brokers and delivers a range of services which support learning and leadership & management and improve outcomes for children and young people.

Waverley Studio College opened in September 2013 and caters for students at key stages 4 and 5. With up to 75 students in each cohort the college has provision for up to 300 students. In the GCSE and Post 16 outcomes in 2022, the Studio College achieved the best results since it opened in 2013. Such has been the success of the college, it is currently full to capacity in Years 10 and 11.

Waverley Studio College specialises in Health, Creative Technology and Enterprise. We pride ourselves on our students who behave well and are committed to their learning. Our sixth form students do work experience placements every week in the local community. Our curriculum includes an enrichment programme to develop their character and skills. We have a strong staff team that are dedicated to the learning and development of all our students.

In our recent September 2022 Ofsted inspection the college retained its ‘Good’ grading. Inspectors stated that ‘Pupils behave well in lessons and around school. They get on well together.’
As a School Receptionist your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not limited to:
« Welcoming students, guests and parents into the school
« Ensuring safeguarding processes are followed
« Answering telephone calls and filtering as necessary
« Responding to emails
« Letters to parents
« Typing of letters and memos
« Filing, scanning and photocopying
« Dealing with parents and pupils
« First Aid

The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Waverley School is a co-educational, all-through school located in Birmingham, West Midlands. It has around 1800 pupils across its primary, secondary and sixth-form departments. The school is part of the Waverley Education Foundation, a multi-academy trust that also operates the local Waverley Studio College.

Waverley School became an all-through school in 2012 and moved to a new site in 2013. It is proud of its diverse student intake.
