Job overview

An opportunity has arisen for the position of Receptionist.  The successful applicant will have a calm and professional manner, the ability to multi-task and liaise with students, parents and external agencies on a daily basis.  

The hours of work will be from 08.00 to 13.30, Monday to Friday - 27.5 hours per week, term time only plus non-pupil days and 10 days’ summer holiday working.  All applications must be submitted on the support staff application form and accompanied by a covering letter, addressed to the Executive Principal.

About Colchester County High School for Girls

Colchester County High School for Girls is part of Alpha Trust.  It is a selective state school for academically able students aged from 11 to 18 years which consistently achieves public examination results at the highest level and Ofsted "Outstanding".  Admission to the school is via the 11+ examination in Year 7; the school also admits academic students to the Sixth Form.  The school is lead for the North East Essex Teaching School Alliance and Colchester Teacher Training Consortium is based on the site.  Situated a mile to the west of central Colchester, the school is set in its own extensive grounds on a large, quiet campus.
