Livingstone Academy Bournemouth is seeking a professional, adaptable, and welcoming Receptionist to serve as the face of our academy. As the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and students, you will embody our school’s culture through exceptional service and a calm, discrete approach.

The Role:

This is a varied, fast-paced position combining high-level administrative support with essential student welfare duties. You will manage the busy front desk, handle multi-line telephone enquiries, and coordinate school communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front of House: Provide a warm welcome while maintaining rigorous safeguarding protocols for all visitors.

  • Student Welfare: Act as a first point of contact for unwell students, managing medical records, checking emergency medication (e.g., Epipens), and liaising with parents during medical emergencies.

  • Administration: Support the Office Manager with data protection, hot meal coordination, uniform stock management, and school trip administration.

  • Communication: Act as a vital link between the academy, parents, and the wider community.

The Ideal Candidate:

You must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain complete confidentiality. Patience and initiative are essential, as you will balance administrative tasks with the immediate needs of children and parents.

Contract:

This is a full time contract on a term time only basis, working 39 weeks per year.
