The Ridge is a very special learning community. We provide a “fresh start” for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health problems (SEMH).  The curriculum is designed to support children in becoming confident and independent learners in a rapidly changing world.

We are looking for an individual to be a key member of the busy administration team, to support the School in the day to day running of the front reception office, working closely with the HR Administrator and Finance Administrator.

The role will mainly include reception duties, you will also be required to take telephone calls, support the day to day function of the front office, such as room bookings, data inputting and keeping supplies up to date, although no two days are the same and the work is very varied. You will also be required to provide assistance as part of an overall team.

We are looking for a reliable, flexible person who has good customer service, administration and organizational skills, who can prioritise their work to achieve deadlines. A cheerful disposition is essential and you must be a hard-working proactive individual. Experience in a School/Academy environment is preferable but training will be provided for the right applicant and we encourage our staff to undertake CPD.

At The Ridge Academy we teach a curriculum that is similar to other schools because we believe that our pupils have the right to the same school experience as any other primary aged child. The key difference in our curriculum delivery is that it is delivered in very small classes with high levels of staffing.
