Invictus Alternative Provision are recruiting for a Receptionist on a fixed term contract term time only and 15 hours per week.

Start date: ASAP

Grade 3, Spine 3-4

We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools, one primary school, and two alternative provisions, with over 700 employees and over 5,000 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands. 

At Invictus we are values driven and as such believe ‘anything is possible’. Our alternative provision estate supports learners to share the same ethos; young people who are most vulnerable are supported to flourish and experience success. Both Greenhill Alternative Learning Campus in Halesowen and Invictus Revive Learning Centre in Dudley aim to support young people in KS3 and 4 who have been unable to achieve in a mainstream setting.

We are seeking a diligent, patient and outgoing person to undertake reception duties and be the first point of contact for our alternative provision centres. This is a fixed term post with potential for a permanent position. If you are resilient, hardworking, and organised we would welcome your application to join the ‘dream team’.

You will need to be; 

  • Willing to undertake all reception duties. 
  • Organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Polite, friendly, professional, respectful and flexible. 
  • Able to use/learn to use the school management information system to update student and family records. 
  • Able to support leaders with generic administrative tasks. 
  • Are patient and show resilience with some of our most vulnerable and challenging learners.

NVQ 2/3 Business and Administration or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline or significant experience as a receptionist.

Daily contact with vulnerable young people in a small setting.  No direct supervision/ teaching of young people required.

Leasowes High School is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with a Sixth Form situated in Halesowen, West Midlands. It provides 1,190 places for students aged 11-18 when fully subscribed.
