Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding new post? The Eden Academy is looking to appoint a Receptionist to join our team at Moorcroft School.
Moorcroft is a special school and is part of the Eden Academy, one of the UK's largest special multi-academy trusts. It is a secondary school for students aged between 11 and 19 years with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). Some of the pupils may also have additional sensory or physical impairments or challenging behaviour.
The School Receptionist is the first point of call for visitors to the school, parents, staff and children. As the ‘face’ of the school the receptionist should be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the School in a professional and friendly manner. In addition it is essential that the person for this role is organised, able to multitask, able to work flexibly and has a ‘can do’ approach to work, as no two days are the same.
We would welcome applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate experience of having worked in a pressurised reception environment and have a positive, flexible attitude to their work.
If you would like to know more about this very important and valued role at Moorcroft School, please email Lauren Jacobs on lauren.jacobs@moorcroftschool.co.uk for further information.
The Eden Academy may, from time to time, require an employee to be relocated temporarily or permanently to one of its other schools. Any proposal to relocate will be carried out with due consultation and reasonable notice.
CLOSING DATE: 28 January 2019 - NOON
INTERVIEW DATE: w/c 4 and 11 February 2019
CVs will not be accepted
The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and other pre-employment checks.
