22.5 hours pw, 39 weeks pa (term time plus insets)
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a part-time Receptionist to run our busy reception area as a job share. We are looking for an individual who is well presented, flexible, highly effective, organised and efficient.
Hours to cover are Monday to Friday 12.00 pm midday to 4.30 pm. Flexibility would be required to cover occasional term time leave and busy school events.

The successful candidate will be an individual who prides themselves on making an excellent first impression and enjoy meeting and greeting visitors and all stakeholders to the school. Someone who believes that a welcoming reception environment plays a pivotal role in the success of the school.
Previous experience in a reception or school office would be a distinct advantage but not essential. A positive attitude and calm manner with the ability to prioritise and deal with a demanding workload is vital. You will be an excellent communicator, have a professional approach and be able to deal with complex matters both face to face and in writing.
Candidates will have strong MS office skills e.g. Word and Excel and be competent users of email & diary managment. Knowledge of SIMS or similar database packages would be desirable but is not essential.
