Ark Swift Primary Academy became an Ark school in September 2013, joining a thriving hub of Ark academies in west London. The staff at our school have worked hard to embed an ethos of high expectations and no excuses and we are committed to constructing a learning environment which pushes all children to make the best progress possible. We have laid the foundations for the improvements and are ready to move forward to create an innovative and dynamic school which serves a diverse community in the White City area.
We are now looking to recruit a Receptionist / Office Administrator to be the first point of contact for visitors and parents providing a warm and professional service. They will provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to the primary school and be responsible for the management of communications with stakeholders through social media and the school website.

As of September 2023, Ark Swift and Ark Burlington Danes Primary are merging together to form Ark White City Primary Academy, to create a two-form entry school in a brand-new purpose-built and modern building which will form part of the EdCity development.

At Ark Swift, our school vision is "Dream, Believe, Achieve" and we work hard throughout the school to realise this. Staff are given high levels of support and training to ensure they can have the biggest impact possible on our young learners. We provide regular staff workshops during assemblies and weekly twilight training sessions as well as access to a range of additional Ark network training such as the NQT programme and Hub Days with network leads.
As a Microsoft school, we are innovative in our use of technology in learning and are able to give our students access to cutting-edge technology experiences in the classroom. Recently, they have taken part in "virtual field trips" such as "Skype the Expert" where they have had the opportunity to connect with a zoo in South Africa and taken a virtual tour of a research base in Antarctica!
Swift has a warm, welcoming environment and there is a strong caring relationship between the staff. The leadership team are understanding and adaptable and are dedicated to enabling all staff and students achieve their full potential. We have seen fantastic results since joining the Ark network, as reflected in our recent Ofsted inspection and are excited to continue of this journey to excellence.
Curriculum
At Ark Swift Primary, we provide a broad and balanced curriculum which develops the individual child according to their age and ability. In addition, we are committed to providing significant opportunities for pupils to master English and mathematics skills. With a strong emphasis on depth before breadth, we believe that mastery in these core subjects determines access to higher education and increased career choices at 18.
