Job Description

Responsible to:  Attendance and Reception Manager

Job Purpose

To offer a professional reception and administrative support service to students, parents and visitors to the college. The job holder will predominantly run the students reception area. 

Main duties and responsibilities

Providing information to students, for example: timetables, directions to classes and student messages

To register students who arrive late after registration into school, amending attendance and reporting records as required. 

To ensure the security and record keeping of confiscated items, such as non-uniform items, mobile phones. 

To manage our school shop for equipment, oversee uniform stock & distribute uniform orders. 

To maintain the register of extra-curricular activities and visits, including the administration of Curriculum Enrichment Days.

To support the duties of the reception team, first aid and inclusion team

To use our telephone, text and messaging systems to communicate messages to parents.

Other duties as directed by your line manager.
