Receptionist

Urmston Grammar is a selective, co-educational, secondary school for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Urmston, Manchester, and there are currently 1125 students on its roll. The governors and the leadership team pride themselves on running a highly successful grammar school and it has an excellent local and national reputation. It features in The Times’ Top 500 Schools and its position there means it is regularly in the top 5% of schools nationally.

Teaching and facilities ensure that students receive an education that prepares them for successful, fulfilled lives in this demanding twenty-first century. The school building has retained much of the original structure that works well to serve our needs, however newer areas incorporate elements of modern design. These fit together seamlessly to provide an excellent working environment. This reflects our philosophy on education, which is built on strong traditions but open to new ideas and innovation.
