The Role


We are looking to recruit a highly organised and proactive receptionist to join our administrative team in a role which is essential to the smooth running and effective operation of the school. The receptionist is the first point of call for visitors to the school, parents, staff and children and should be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the school in a professional and friendly manner. In addition, it is essential that the person for this role is able to multi-task, work flexibly and have a ‘can do’ approach to work. The receptionist is also required to assist the admin team with various administrative tasks. Effective communication skills are essential and a good working knowledge of MS Office applications. Full training will be given with regards to specific software programs used by the school.

Located in Walthamstow and Highams Park the Trust comprises Joseph Clarke School (for children with vision impairment and /or additional needs), Whitefield School (for pupils with complex needs including autism, learning difficulties and sensory and physical impairments), our Professional Development Services centre and the highly successful Project SEARCH East London.
