Job overview

We are looking for a Receptionist to join our dedicated support team at Amesbury Archer Primary School which is part of the Magna Learning Partnership.  The postholder will be the first point of contact for parents and visitors to the school so must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be welcoming and efficient and be able to demonstrates the school’s values.

Duties will involve providing telephone and reception services, data entry, sending communication to parents,  undertaking general administrative duties and acting as first aider.

Candidates must be flexible, organised and efficient individuals who hold relevant administrative qualifications, can produce work to a high standard and ideally have experience of working in a customer facing role within an educational setting.

The school office is an extremely busy environment and the postholder must be adaptable, a good team player, can work under pressure and support the vision and ethos of the school.

Hours for the post are 8.15 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday, term time only and teacher training days.
