Reception Teacher and Year Group Leader

We are looking to appoint an outstanding reception class practitioner who is well organised and highly motivated to lead our team of 3 reception classes. This is a great opportunity for an experienced practitioner to lead and guide colleagues whilst also still enjoying their Reception Teacher duties. 

We are looking for someone who:

· is a skilled early years practitioner with exemplary early years practice

· has at least 3 years’ experience teaching in reception and a secure knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage

· has the ability to lead a team to the benefits of the children

· will motivate children to be confident, independent, enquiry based learners

· is committed to ensuring that all pupils achieve their full potential

· has high expectations for learning and behaviour

· is adaptable and has a positive attitude

· has excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with children, parents and staff

We are a popular and successful academy school, committed to delivering a broad and creative curriculum and providing pupils with access to a wide range of extra-curricular activities. We have excellent facilities, particularly ICT, P.E., and the creative curriculum, set within an extensive landscaped site. Starting salary point will be as appropriate for experience and a TLR3 will be applicable to the Year Group Leader role.
