Determined to give our students the very best education and experience, we are currently strengthening our HR team.  We are looking to recruit a Recruitment and HR Team Administrator to adopt a proactive approach, working in partnership with managers and other stakeholders across the College, in the provision of a customer focused HR service specifically in relation to the end to end recruitment and selection process.

You will work proactively to recruit outstanding College employees and design and deliver an exemplary recruitment process from advertisement of post through to new starter induction whilst driving best practice and ensuring compliance with College procedures, documented policies and recruitment employment legislation.

You will also be a credible individual with excellent communication and influencing skills and the ability to build effective relationships. You will need to have the ability to demonstrate strong organisational and administration skills as well as be highly organised and able to prioritise and meet deadlines in a busy working environment. It is important that the successful candidate has the ability to successfully demonstrate a proactive approach to work and to work as part of a team.

In addition to being the lead HR contact for all College recruitment, you will also support the HR team in terms of providing generalist HR team administrative support in the form of diary management for the Director of HR and OD, notetaking at investigations and formal hearings, central agency point of contact and invoice tracking for the team as well as other general administrative tasks as required.

To be successful you will need to be an exceptionally organised and hardworking individual with GCSE at levels A - C including Maths and English or equivalent and be able to prioritise and meet deadlines in a busy working environment with possible conflicting priorities. You will need to demonstrate effective customer service skills and understand the importance of confidentiality and diplomacy at all times.

The post is based at out South Bristol Skills Academy in Hengrove, South Bristol and some travel will be required to our other sites in Bristol on occasions.

We’ll look after you with comprehensive training and induction process as well as 26 days holiday as well as an additional 16 bank holiday and College closure days (totalling 42 days) - so you will have plenty of time to recharge your batteries too!
