We are currently recruiting for a fixed-term Recruitment Assistant to join our HR team and support in coordinating the growing demands of the recruitment function across the trust.

Working alongside another Recruitment Assistant and under the guidance of the Recruitment and Project Lead, this role will provide a comprehensive and professional resourcing service to Principals, School Senior Leadership Teams and Line Managers, and be a primary point of contact for all of our candidates.

We are looking for someone with a high degree of accuracy, clear and effective communication skills, and with the drive and enthusiasm to champion a positive and effective candidate and hiring manager experience at all stages of the recruitment process.

This will be a hybrid role, working at least one day a week in our Stanmore office.

What will you do?

  • Partner with and build strong relationships with Hiring Mangers to deliver a professional and comprehensive end-to-end recruitment process across all roles at the Trust.
  • Maintain the ATS (applicant tracking system) to ensure accurate records of the full recruitment campaign, communicating outcomes accordingly and providing reports as necessary.
  • Reviewing recruitment documentation sent through by Hiring Managers ensuring and advising on compliance with legislation, internal policy and best practice and that it is fit to attract high calibre candidates to the role.
  • Inviting candidates to interview, liaising with Hiring Managers as needed over schedules and assessments.
  • Requesting references for all shortlisted candidates prior to interview.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper records of the recruitment and selection process and ensure completion of each individual’s file.

What are we looking for?

  • Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external contacts
  • Significant experience in developing and maintaining administrative systems and procedures.
  • Demonstrable experience working in a customer service environment
  • Excellent ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and pay attention to detail.
