We are looking for an innovative Recruitment Coordinator / Learning and teaching Assistant to join our highly skilled and productive support team to provide quality recruitment processes, oversee staff well-being initiatives and support for learning and teaching across the school. 

Frederick Bremer School is situated within the heart of Waltham Forest and has excellent transport links.  Wood Street over ground is a 10 minute walk from the school, with Walthamstow Central underground a 20 minute walk away but offers an excellent bus service just outside of the station.  Frederick Bremer School currently has great staff wellbeing initiatives, such as discounted access to both our local Kick Boxing Gym and Better Gym at our local leisure centre.  The school is close to Stratford Westfield shopping centre and the Olympic Park.  Walthamstow village also offers a vibrant, trendy setting for many restaurants.

About Frederick Bremer School

Frederick Bremer School is a mainstream, non-selective, co-educational secondary school for children aged 11-16, situated in Walthamstow, East London. There are 860 students on its roll.

The school has specialist provision for children who have autism spectrum conditions. It also has a large and highly specialist special educational needs team, which supports a large number of pupils with needs ranging from visual impairments to cognitive learning needs.

Frederick Bremer School was named after a local entrepreneur who invented the first petrol-driven car in 1894, which he drove around the local streets of Walthamstow.

There is a pupil leadership programme, including an active school council.
