PolyMAT is a small and ambitious MAT with a unique family feel. Our vision is ‘Success for Everyone’ and the successful candidate will help deliver this for our schools. We currently have three schools in our Trust: Woolwich Polytechnic School for Boys, a long-successful boys’ school, Woolwich Polytechnic School for Girls that opened in 2019, and Bannockburn Primary School, a large successful primary that joined the Trust on 1st November 2023. We also have our flourishing Sixth Form provision which is co-educational.
Following the success of our first ever Ofsted inspection at Woolwich Polytechnic School for Girls, we are looking for dedicated staff that will join us on our journey in delivering an outstanding education for all our students. By joining us, you will play a vital role in supporting our girls to grow as women whose voices are heard and respected. Woolwich Polytechnic School for Girls are looking to appoint a motivated and inspiring Refocus and Reset Manager to be responsible for:
- Managing the Refocus Room for students to enable them to reflect on their behaviour/attitude to encourage students to learn from their mistakes.
- Overseeing the running and organisation of Resets each day
Liaising with:
Heads of Department, Heads of Year, Senior Leadership Team, Learning Support, the Governing Body, external agencies and parents.
The successful applicant will have the ability to work with students whilst undertaking the work set and to ensure a constructive and ordered learning environment. To challenge, motivate and inspire young people to achieve their potential.
We are looking for a Refocus and Reset Manager who will:
- Be passionate about improving the lives of our students

- Has experience of working with young people aged 11 – 16
- Has a professional appearance, attitude and will be able to deal with staff, students and parents with confidence.
- Strong interpersonal skills, be confident in their approach and demonstrate high levels of attention to detail.
