Job overview

Creative Education Trust is a non-profit educational charity recognised by the Department for Education as one of the leading national multi-academy trusts. We support a growing network of schools to achieve academic success and improved life chances for our students.

We’re looking for a skilled HR Advisor to work across a cluster of schools in the Midlands and Staffordshire as part of a motivated HR team. You will ideally have previous experience of education or the public sector, which will equip you well to provide a first-class HR advisory and support service to school principals, senior leadership teams, and school-based HR support.

This is a stimulating role and every day will bring new challenges and opportunities. In order to succeed, you will need to be proactive, skilled in managing HR casework, and have experience of working in complex, unionised environments.

In return you will receive excellent support and development and will have the opportunity to really make a difference to the schools that you work with.

Closing date: 24 January 2020.

For further information please contact Vanda Roy, Senior HR Advisor, on Vanda.Roy@creativeeducationtrust.org.uk

Creative Education Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to undertake relevant safeguarding checks.

About The Hart School

The Hart School is an 11-18, non-selective, oversubscribed school from September 2021 located in Rugeley, Staffordshire. We currently have 1195 students on roll including a growing sixth form of 150 students.

We are part of the growing Creative Education Trust and work closely with a family of schools to raise standards and to enable students to achieve their potential, thereby ensuring students are given the educational opportunity of a lifetime.

Our Vision and Values

Our vision at The Hart School is “WE CAN, WE WILL, WE DO” and together we work to our core values of happy, ambitious, resilient and tolerant. This personal growth empowers each student to be the very best that they can be, attaining the highest possible academic standards as happy, well-rounded young people ready to make a positive contribution to our global community.

We want our students to become independent learners who are critical in their thinking, informed in their choices and confident in their ability to succeed in the modern world. We expect them to be respectful and tolerant; driven and confident and to always strive for the best. In addition to their academic lives we also want our students to benefit from extra-curricular experiences in the arts, design, sport and culture which will help them become well-rounded, balanced adults.

Our students are at the heart of everything we do. The curriculum is student-centred and we aim for their education to be inspiring, stimulating, challenging and ensures that we provide a positive memorable experience that creates rich opportunities. This allows every student to excel irrespective of their background or ability.
