This is a pivotal role that will be influential in the successful coordination and delivery of the operational requirements of Anthems’ Thames Valley schools, bridging implementation and support from Anthem’s national team, who deliver the central functions of the organisation.

The postholder will deliver the responsibilities for all Anthem Primary and Secondary schools in the Thames Valley area, ensuring consistency of processes and enabling efficiencies wherever possible.


We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager who can:

provide operational support to the school’s senior leadership teams for the Primary and Secondary schools in the Thames Valley region, and will be responsible for the efficient and robust delivery of the operational and administrative functions including HR, finance and facilities thus, ensuring the smooth running of the schools within the region.

We are looking for the right individual who:

·        is proactive and adaptable, with the skills to successfully prioritise and adapt to changing priorities and requirements

·        a team player who can manage people effectively and work closely with colleagues and other stakeholders to support Anthems schools to meet the highest standards.


This broad role will require a strong and dynamic individual with an extensive skill set, responsibilities will include:

·        The coordination and implementation of Anthem’s policy and procedures in relation to Employee life cycle, relations and payroll management.

·        Oversight and implementation of compliance activity including oversight of the schools Critical Incident Plan and implementation of health and safety regulations.

·        Acting as the School Data Protection Lead within schools, supporting the Trust’s Data Protection Officer.

·        Working with Headteachers and wider teams to manage admissions, the schools’ risk registers, and the maintenance of policies in line with the direction of the organisation.

·        Manage systems within the allocated schools to work within organisational systems for finance, procurement and premises.
