Registered Nurse (NHS Band 6 Equivalent)

Two posts available: one full time and one 3 days per week

The roles are mostly term time working, day shifts

£32,000 - £42,144 per annum (pro rata for part time)

In addition, the post holder will receive:

+ Uplift if the post holder is a registered children’s nurse

+ £2000 ‘golden hello’ (pro rata)


We are a large enthusiastic team of nurses, working with hundreds of staff to support up to 170 children and young adults with disabilities to access education in our specialist school and college. We are well supported by our Senior Nursing Team, Medicines Management Team, MDT, onsite GPs and Safeguarding lead. We have immense job satisfaction and love making a real difference to the lives of our students. We also enjoy continuity of care, an inspiring atmosphere, high quality professional development and a great work life balance – even through the pandemic.


We are looking to appoint an experienced nurse with recent clinical experience and transferable skills from either acute, community or hospice care. Competence with managing clinical deterioration is needed. We provide comprehensive training throughout the year and excellent opportunities for development. We are rated Outstanding by Ofsted and CQC.
