Reprographics Assistant

(Would suit someone returning to the work place and wishing to work part time during the school term)

LOCATION: Winchester, Hampshire

CONTRACT TYPE: 16 hours per week 9.30am to 1.30pm, 4 days a week (to be agreed) 40 weeks per year (term time + 5days) 5 days to be worked during school holidays (including at least 2 days prior to the  start of the autumn term)

SALARY: Grade B £15,669 FTE (actual salary £5,944.45pa )

Following an internal promotion we are looking for a hard working and organised admin support to run our day to day reprographics department.

You will need: 

• Excellent administrative and organisational skills 

• Excellent ICT skills (Microsoft Office) 

• Some reprographics experience 

• An ability to use your own initiative and work under pressure 

• Good interpersonal and communication skills 

Applicants should be educated to at least GCSE/O’Level standard (or equivalent), with passes in English and Maths at grade C or above.

Requirments of the Role:-

To undertake all tasks in relation to the reproduction of information, reports and booklets for a range of audiences including photocopying, laminating and guillotining.

Export data from printer section of photocopiers to produce monthly usage totals for departments and the Bursar.

To carry out regular, basic maintenance, including changing toner and safety checks on all reprographic equipment and arrange for repairs as necessary to ensure smooth operation of all equipment.

Knowledge and implementation of school, national and statutory policies in the workplace.  

Liaise with ICT Technician to recycle toner.  

Liaise with Admin Assistant to ensure all letters are house style. 

To order stock and maintain stock control whilst ensuring value for money for all ordering and printing.

To carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required within the purview of the post.

The Henry Beaufort School has a purpose built nursery, Henry’s Kindergarten set within the school grounds.
