NSB Trust Support Staff Scale point 3 £24,796 FTE using April 2025 NJC rates

(£16,799.96 to £19,599.95 Actual, dependent on hours)

30 to 35 hours a week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus training days)

8:00am-3:30pm daily; 30 minutes unpaid lunch break (exact hours confirmed on appointment)

About the Role

Would you like to be part of an exciting journey by joining a newly opened and growing school, based at our brand-new site with outstanding facilities off Thorpeville, to start as soon as available?

Northampton School (part of The NSB Trust) is looking for a versatile and enthusiastic member of staff to work as part of our Admin Team with a specific focus on supporting teaching staff with their photocopying/reprographics needs and ensuring that they have all the necessary materials for students’ lessons. The role will also oversee student lost property, our emerging ‘nearly new shop’ and provide support for the general admin team where needed including occasionally covering reception.

Previous experience of working in a school or reception would be beneficial but is not essential. It is important for applicants to be confident, clear communicators with good ICT skills and have a willingness to learn and be part of a pro-active team.

·         You must have great organisational skills, be motivated, determined, resilient and a self-starter, have a willingness to learn and be part of a pro-active team to identity, monitor and close any emerging gaps;

·         You must ensure that the school is a pleasant and secure learning environment so that all students feel safe.

·         You must be professional and a good communicator when working with parents/carers and outside agencies.
