Health Futures is an exciting new school which opened in a multi-million pound building in September 2015. We are pleased to offer this post of Reprographics Technician. Working to the Director of Operations, your duties will involve everything from ordering and maintaining stock levels and liaising with staff regarding work requirements, to managing workloads and controlling schedules. The successful candidate will have proven experience of working in a print room, supported by a sound working knowledge of operating high volume copying machinery. He/she will also bring a highly organised approach, be able to prioritise and work well under pressure and have the ability to manage and meet changing deadlines.
This role is the equivalent of up to 210 days per year (slightly more than term time only) not whole year. This is a full time role and the hours worked may require you to be flexible within a normal overall envelope of 8:00am to 5:30pm, if you have constraints on the times that you can be available please indicate this clearly in your application.
You will be an effective user of ICT with a high level of accuracy, a strong eye for detail and a good communicator. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience while working with us so that your career can grow as we do. Our state of the art facilities and technology will ensure you can engage with all stakeholders effectively and efficiently while also supporting the rest of the school community to do the same.
Established with the backing of the University of Wolverhampton and in partnership with a wide range of health sector employer partners, including all West Midlands NHS Trusts, WM Ambulance Service and the Mid-counties Co-operative Pharmacy, Health Futures is responding to the identified skills gap that is preventing local young people taking up the varied and valuable career paths in this sector.
