Italian International School “Collegio Villoresi San Giuseppe”, Catholic School fully authorised  “parificata “ for the Primary Years italian Curriculum Programme (3-10), the Middle Years Programme (11-14) and the Diploma Programme (15-19).


Our school is an established “Collegio” with over 120 years of tradition, ranked between the top schools in Italy, that offers the Italian curriculum with strong emphasis on the English language and many subjects taught in English. We offer IGCSE and A-level courses embedded in our curriculum. 


The school, based in Monza, close to Milan, has a strong English teaching tradition with 30% of lessons in English and it’s a real multicultural languages environment.


Monza is a residential town 20 minutes away from central Milan with easy access to the picturesque Lake Como area while the Alps and Switzerland are just an hour away. 

High importance is placed on the digital learning environment and we aim to offer a challenging and stimulating curriculum based on high achievement and inquiry-based learning and designed to generate an enthusiasm for learning and to value it as a life-long process.


Collegio Villoresi San Giuseppe is seeking a motivated teacher to join our team immediately for the Diploma classes. You should be able to adapt quickly to a new and exciting learning environment and be flexible teaching across year groups. We are seeking an enthusiastic professional, preferably but not necessarily with experience of the International Baccalaureate.


Candidate requirements:


Candidates should be well-qualified, committed to high standards, interested in using innovative approaches to teaching and learning and enthusiastic about promoting international understanding.


It would be mandatory to hold a University degree in education or a pgse and an EU passport or already be in possession of a valid visa that enables to work in Italy.


The successful candidate will:


  • Be passionate about providing excellent teaching and learning.
  • Ideally have some experience in teaching but this is not a requirement as training will be given.
  • Be willing to play an active part and collaborate with the other members of the school.
  • Be committed to high standards, interested in using a constructivist approach to learning, and
  • Be enthusiastic about promoting international understanding.
  • Be committed to creating a safe environment where our students can learn and grow.
