Resident Gap/Graduate Assistants

Required for September 2023, this is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Gloucestershire’s leading Independent, co-educational day & flexi boarding schools for children aged 3 to 13.

We are seeking to recruit several Resident Graduate Assistants (RGAs) to join us for one academic year commencing September 2023. The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, able and highly adaptable individuals who may be considering a career in teaching and would relish the experience this post will provide.

RGAs play an active role in the boarding house and in the provision of sport across the School. Opportunities also exist for those wishing to gain wider experience in developing their own talents and interests, for example in music, drama, art and DT. It will assist successful candidates in their role if they naturally enjoy the company of young people and have a fun-loving disposition that young people can relate to and with which they can feel comfortable.

Experience of working in a busy school environment should prove invaluable in whichever career successful candidates later choose to pursue. At the end of the year, we expect RGAs will have gained confidence, acquired valuable leadership and communication skills, and developed talents in areas perhaps, as yet, unknown!
