Beaudesert Park School, Gloucestershire, is one of the county’s leading independent co-educational day & flexi boarding schools for children aged 3 to 13. We are looking to recruit up to four Resident Graduate Assistants (RGAs) to join us for one academic year starting September 2019. The successful candidates will be willing, able and highly adaptable individuals who are interested in a teaching career and would relish the experience this post will offer in a highly successful prep school environment.

RGAs will reside in staff accommodation, which is available for the entire year, and will play an active role in the boarding house and in the provision of sport across the School. Opportunities also exist for those wishing to gain wider experience in developing their own talents and interests, for example in music, drama, art and DT. It will assist successful candidates in their role if they naturally enjoy the company of young people and have a fun-loving disposition that young people can relate to and with which they can feel comfortable.

We expect RGAs will find the experience of working in a busy school environment invaluable in whatever career they later choose to pursue. At the end of the year, RGAs will have gained confidence, acquired valuable leadership and communication skills, and developed talents in perhaps, as yet, unknown disciplines!
