Mill Hill School is a co-educational Independent day and boarding school for pupils aged 13 -18. The new appointment of Residential House Parent and Boarding Administrator will be the link between students, parents and the academic side of the school and will take responsibility for key administrative aspects of boarding life. This will be an invaluable role in allowing students and their families to feel safe, supported and reassured throughout their time at Mill Hill School as well as ensuring that boarding life runs efficiently and smoothly Working under the direction of the Deputy Head (Pastoral), you will have responsibility for the pastoral welfare of the young people in your Boarding House. Working closely with your pastoral care team and liaising daily with Academic Tutors, Housemasters, and the Academic Staff, your support will enable the students in your Boarding House to thrive and flourish in every area of their life at Mill Hill School. Responsibilities relating to the administrative aspects of this role will be agreed with the Deputy Head pastoral with who you will work with closely.

Having a good understanding of National Minimum Boarding Standards (NMBS) and the duty of statutory care obligations for pupils under 18 would be an advantage.

This post would suit someone who is articulate, professionally minded and caring. The school will provide on-site accommodation and pastoral training.

The Mill Hill School Foundation offers education to boys and girls aged between 3 and 18 in its four Schools. The Schools occupy a magnificent 160 acres of beautiful grounds just 10 miles from Central London with easy access to underground and main line stations.
