We are seeking a Resource Administration Officer to provide administrative and hands on support in the Food Technology, Sport and general school areas as required.

Duties include:

  • Providing administrative support for staff;
  • Ordering, receiving and appropriate storage of food and equipment in the area of Food Technology;
  • Preparation of ingredients and assisting with practical lessons; and
  • Set up and pack down of equipment. 

You will have proven communication and interpersonal skills and a willingness to work as part of a team. You will also demonstrate an ability and initiative to apply your skills to achieve the desired outcomes within the relevant areas.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

Commencing as soon as possible.

Position tenure:  Fixed Term

Weeks worked:  School term weeks only (holidays unpaid)

Tenure duration (where Fixed Term)June to December 2023

Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required: 19 hours per week over 3 days.- Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 3 - $30.97 per hour

Employment conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement
