The SABDEN Multi Academy Trust provides specialised education to young people with complex Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). We are three special schools, a secure unit, a large countywide alternative provision, a vocational free school and one of five teaching schools within East Sussex. We strive to discover success through learning, self-belief and achievement.  Pupils are empowered to take responsibility through a personalised curriculum supported by secure systems.

College Central, a ‘Good’ alternative provision, provides specialised education to young people with who have been, or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream school, currently across three locations within East Sussex - Eastbourne, Hastings and Bexhill-on-Sea. We strive to discover success through learning, self-belief and achievement.  Pupils are empowered to take responsibility through a personalised curriculum supported by secure systems.

College Central, based at Eastbourne, is seeking to recruit a Resource Coordinator into their Finance and Administration Team. Although this permanent position will be based at the Eastbourne site, there will be an expectation that the successful candidate will also be required work from our Hastings and/or Bexhill sites one or two days per week.

The Role: Resource Coordinator, to effectively coordinate and support Multi Academy Trust resource operations (Financial, Facilities and Personnel Resource Management). Required to start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will need to be a highly organised individual with experience of financial management and record keeping, either in education or industry. You will have a knowledge of financial management systems, and experience of managing invoices, payments and petty cash. You will be able to prioritise workloads and work effectively to tight deadlines. You will be an effective communicator and able to work as part of a wider school team, and a whole trust team of Resource Coordinators.

You will be required to work Monday – Friday, from at least 8.30am –3.30pm (working hours to be discussed at interview and agreed on successful appointment).
