Resource School Integrated Assistant (RSIA)

Salary: NJC Scale 4, Point 7 - 11 ( £24,294 - £25,979) pro-rata term time only + Inset days

We require as soon as possible motivated individuals, experienced in working with

children with special needs, to join our friendly special education needs support team.

The applicant will work with Secondary School students with a range of severe and

complex learning needs. This is a challenging and varied role and an exciting opportunity

for a highly driven person.

Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels is essential and a willingness to use your own car during the school day would be preferable. Candidates are required to have at least grade C English and Maths GCSE or equivalent.

The posts are available as soon as possible (subject to Safeguarding clearance). Your employment is subject to a probation period of six months, during which time you will be required to demonstrate your suitability for the position in which you are employed. To this end your progress will be assessed on a regular basis.

32 hours 5 mins per week (6 hours and 25 mins per day). Negotiable part-time hours available, please state on your application which days you are available to work.
