Our pupils are authentic young individuals with strong values, keen to make a positive difference in an ever-changing world. Engaging in classroom learning, or musical, artistic, sporting, enterprise, or charitable endeavours, they are constantly encouraged to connect with the wider world, embrace new experiences with confidence, self-belief, and a ‘can-do’ attitude. The Surbiton experience combines our challenging academic education with a co-curricular programme designed to challenge our pupils and develop values and behaviours to sustain them for life.

Surbiton High School prides itself on being able to help pupils to find their niche through both their academic and co-curricular activities, and all staff are expected to play a full part in the academic, co-curricular and pastoral life of the School. Our staff are inspirational and dedicated, delivering a rich curriculum and programme of activities to challenge our pupils to explore ideas for themselves.
