We are looking to recruit a Rowing Coach who is ideally looking to gain teaching experience and/or sports management experience.
Coaching experience in rowing is essential and qualifications are desirable, along with the ability to actively encourage pupils to develop a passion for rowing. Pangbourne is one of the most successful rowing schools in Great Britain. Around 140 students are members of Pangbourne College Boat Club, which is located on a wide, 7km stretch on the River Thames.
If you are looking to develop your sports management experience, you will be tasked with shadowing and supporting our Director of Sports, helping to manage the profile of sports in an educational setting. If you are thinking of entering the teaching profession, we will ensure you gain invaluable experience of the academic environment.
Alternatively, you may be a keen Rowing Coach with very different ambitions: either way, we would love to hear from you.
We offer excellent working conditions set in beautiful grounds. Single (shared) accommodation can be provided.
For further information about the College and an application pack, please visit our website www.pangbourne.com/vacancies
Applications should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
Closing date: Midday on 24th May 2019.
Please apply as soon as possible as applications will be considered upon receipt; we reserve the right to interview/appoint before the closing date.
In line with our recruitment policy and for the protection of our pupils, you will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and employment reference checks. Pangbourne College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects staff and volunteers to share this commitment. You must be eligible to work in the UK.
