We are a welcoming and supportive primary school, with a relentless determination to provide the very best education for every child.

Our work has received national recognition and at the 2019 Education Business Awards we won the ‘Outstanding Progress’ award. The award is presented to the UK Primary School that has made outstanding progress in the management of its facilities, finances, and human resources and can demonstrate an increase in the educational performance of the school.

The Academy became part of the Outwood Family of Schools in 2012 and as part of the Outwood Grange Academies Trust we offer our colleagues extensive CPD opportunities and are committed to the Outwood vision of putting children first, raising standards and transforming lives.

We work hard to ensure we reduce workload on staff, allowing more time in the classroom to put our vision of children first, raising standards and transforming lives into practice.

In addition to this success, we will actively invest in your future through working closely with the Outwood Institute of Education to offer access to a wide range of CPD opportunities, with all staff receiving a minimum of two hours’ CPD each week.

We also offer a generous employment package with a whole host of staff benefits, including a health cash plan, a cycle to work scheme, plus a partnership with car leasing company, Synergy, with offers exclusively for Outwood colleagues.
