We are seeking to appoint an experienced Safeguarding & Child Protection Officer to assist the Designated Safeguarding Lead in discharging all related duties towards creating and promoting a safe environment for students, ensuring child protection and safeguarding matters are dealt with effectively and efficiently and in compliance with policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be proactive in working with parents/carers and other agencies through joint planning, training and monitoring of their arrangements for the protection of children. You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in a similar role, have excellent IT skills, along with experience of liaising with Children's Services and Multi Agency professionals.
This is a term time only position, covering 38 weeks of the academic year. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.00pm and the actual starting salary based on a 32.5 hour week is £15,622 - £18,305.
