Working Pattern: 36 hours per week, Term Time only plus 5 INSET Days

 

Grafham Grange School is a special school for 70 students aged 10-16 with social, emotional and mental health as their primary identified need. It is situated in 42 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside in Bramley offering significant opportunities for outdoor learning.

 

The school offers a curriculum that covers academic and practical subjects allowing all students to find their talents and strengths whilst focusing on the skills they need to build better futures. The bespoke approach to learning means students grow in self-confidence and are prepared to take their next steps in their lives after school.

 

The SEND and Safeguarding Administrator will work under the direction of the Senior Leaders responsible for SEND and Safeguarding.

 

As the SEND Administrator the successful candidate will manage the annual review process, arranging and minuting meetings, collating the required paperwork, and supporting the SEND department as required.

 

With regard to safeguarding the successful candidate will be trained to Level 3 Safeguarding and will become a member of the school’s safeguarding team. They will act as gatekeeper to the safeguarding reporting process, arrange and minute safeguarding meetings and provide administrative support as required by the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
