The College is seeking to appoint a well-qualified, high performing and enthusiastic individual to the new post of Safeguarding and Student Wellbeing Manager. The post-holder will also be a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead for the College. The College has robust safeguarding processes and has developed numerous student wellbeing initiatives including the more recent student wellbeing hub on our website. This new role will further compliment the team providing additional support for students.

At Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College each individual student is central to all our endeavours. This is a new post, to compliment the College position as an outstanding provider with a core focus on student support to maximise their overall achievement and experience, and to ensure each student realises their potential at Notre Dame ‘to be the best they can be.’ It is an exciting time to join the department and the College as we continue to invest in the accommodation and resources across the site, not least with a new 14 classroom building opening in June 2023.

The Safeguarding team have a very friendly and professional atmosphere within the department and a strong emphasis on encouraging a positive rapport between staff and students in the pursuit of academic success. There is a wealth of experience and professional knowledge and an encouragement to undertake CPD.

The post offers the opportunity for an experienced or aspirational leader with a track record of outstanding success to make a significant contribution to the future of Notre Dame within an inclusive environment, with a real commitment to the personal and academic development of all students.

This is a full time, term time only + 10 days post.
